Shell script Example

create file with following content
#!/bin/bash

echo "Hello"

save as  .sh

To chage the fileformat to unix
Open the file in vi editor
vi file_script.sh

In command mode type
:set fileformat=unix
:wq!

Give permission
chmod 755 file_script.sh


Run as
./file_script.sh
